Update to senior membership fees from the start of 2023

Membership fees will be changing this year. In some instances members may be required to pay more for cricket at RCC, this is due to:

- The senior section making a loss in 2022.

- Significant financial projects on the horizon, such as replacing the clubhouse roof.

- Inflation, leading to higher costs this year

- The committee keeping membership fees static for 5 years, despite a significant increases in the amount of cricket and training on offer.

- Charges being significantly less than other clubs who typically charge both membership and match fees.

The club has made a commitment to keep fees low for younger members, to keep cricket accessible. Therefore we’ll be implementing a staggered membership option based on age, with discounts available for members under 26. All age price bands are based on members’ ages at 01/01/2023 and are staggered as follows:

£60 - U18s
£120 - 18-22
£220 - 23-25 (discounted senior membership)
£260 - 26+ (full senior membership)

Like previous years, members will have the option to split their payments throughout the season when paying on pitchero. For those opting for this, transaction costs will apply and we’ll request the first payment by the end of April. Alternatively, there is the option to transfer the full membership amount to the club bank account.

We will continue to offer a free playing shirt for members paying senior membership (discounted or full) for the first time, which can be expensed back to the club when purchased.

For those not wanting to pay membership, we will charge the following match fees from the first game of the season:

Match fees:
£20 (23+) / £10 (u22)

Summer nets fees will be £7 for non-members and free for members.

Winter net fees will be £7 for members.

Winter membership for indoor cricket will be £50

If you have any questions on the membership changes agreed at the AGM, please contact your team captain.
